Jessie J is supposedly behind Britney Spears’ new single.  Jessie is a British singer/songwriter who worked on Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the USA” before helping Britney.

Jessie had this to say to The Sun: “It’s more British than you would expect but with the Britney swag. People will be surprised. It could be the most amazing thing I’ve done.”

Los Angeles single mother and performer Britney Spears figured out one way to make her blended family work. According to the British paper, The Sun, Spears is going to take her two children on a lavish vacation in Thailand. While there she is planning to rent out an entire resort, for a week at a cost of well over $250,000, and she is extending an invitation to join her, her boyfriend and her children to her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, and his girlfriend, Victoria Prince, who might one day be stepmother to Spears’ children with Federline. Now that’s one way to make sure everyone gets along!

When families divorce there is often animosity and hostility. Being able to heal and regroup is hard work. Some families never get there. Spears and Federline are doing a great job of presenting a united front for their children, who had a rough go of in the beginning of their divorce.

VIP guests at BRITNEY SPEARS’ O2 gig were left fuming, and parched, after the troubled star’s dad banned alcohol in any area that she may pass through.

Instead of the usual glasses of chilled bubbly, Access All Areas ticket holders are being handed bottles of WATER behind the scenes in a bid to keep the troubled star away from booze while on tour.

Britney’s family have issued the blanket ban on any areas that the star might pass through on her way from dressing room to stage – and staff have been asked to sign contracts promising that no booze will be available.

A source at the venue says: “Following her problems with alcohol, Britney had requested that everywhere backstage is alcohol free.

“Her family is monitoring the situation very carefully and we’ve been made to sign contracts promising not to drink or allow any of the VIP guests to have alcohol in any of the backstage areas that Britney could use.

“It is very important to Britney that she doesn’t see anybody drinking in her presence.”

A gig goer, who purchased the AAA ticket, told The Sun: “Although I respect Britney’s wishes, I was desperate for a drink myself. It certainly put a dampener on the night.”

New excerpts from Britney Spears’ upcoming MTV documentary, For the Record, have just been revealed by the U.K.’s The Sun, in which the pop star says that while her career is back in the zone, her controlled existence in the wake of her breakdown last year is often a struggle.

“There’s no excitement, there’s no passion. I have really good days, and then I have bad days,” says Britney, whose father, Jamie, continues to serve as permanent conservator of her estate. “Even when you go to jail, you know there’s the time when you’re gonna get out. But in this situation, it’s never ending. It’s just like Groundhog Day every day.”

“I think it’s too in control,” she adds. “If I wasn’t under the restraints I’m under, I’d feel so liberated. When I tell them the way I feel, it’s like they hear but they’re really not listening. I never wanted to become one of those prisoner people. I always wanted to feel free.”

For the Record premieres Nov. 30 on MTV, two days before Brit turns 27 and releases her sixth studio album, Circus.

BRITNEY SPEARS is reportedly set to follow in the footsteps of PRINCE and KYLIE MINOGUE by playing a two-week residency at London’s O2 Arena next year (09).
The Toxic hitmaker is preparing for a mammoth world tour in 2009 on the back of her forthcoming album, Circus, which is released in December (08).
And now, according to British newspaper The Sun, Spears has negotiated a deal with the London venue which will see her show based there for 14 nights.
Artists including Prince, Kylie Minogue and the Spice Girls have all completed a residency at the arena. The live shows will be Spears’ first gigs in the U.K. since 2004′s Onyx Hotel Tour.

British paparazzo Adnan Ghalib, ex-boyfriend of Britney Spears, says he will sell the sex tape featuring himself and the pop princess if the price is right.

“There is such a tape,” Adnan tells Heat magazine. “But I won’t discuss prices for hypothetical inquiries. Unless there is a locked-in deal, I will go no further. I am not interested in selling out any other details about Britney.”

A source tells The Sun that the two-hour X-rated footage features Britney naked wearing just a pink wig and was allegedly shot in Mexico. (Adnan and Britney went to Mexico together in January.)
