Britney Spears’ fiance Jason Trawick splashed out on her engagement ring – the diamond band set him back $92,000.

The singer became engaged to her agent boyfriend last week and the pair quickly shared its happy news on Twitter.com.

Spears later flashed the lavish ring as she partied with Trawick during his 40th birthday festivities in Las Vegas over the weekend, and now it’s emerged the Neil Lane band cost Trawick $92,000, according to Life & Style.

A source tells the publication, “Jason helped design a 4-carat round-cut-diamond-and-platinum ring that has diamonds all around the band. It’s gorgeous!

“He looked for a while for the perfect ring and chose it all by himself. By now he knows what Britney likes. Jason’s never been engaged before, so he’s really, really excited. He’s thrilled that Britney will be his wife. They’re both happy. They’ve come a long way.”

Britney is turning 30 this year and rumors are starting that Britney plans to get engaged around this time. Her tour will be winding down and Showbizspy is saying that Britney will use her 30th birthday as a marker for settling down with long-time boyfriend Jason Trawick:

“Britney is excited about her 30th and what she expects might be a big change of life for her,” says a source close to the singer.

“She and Jason have talked a lot about the future and Britney sees turning 30 as the perfect time to settle down and get being a wife and a mother right this time. But before that she’s planning one huge last blow-out to see off her twenties.”

Britney is looking happier and healthier these days.  December is still a few months away, so we have to wait to see if any of this is true.

Britney Spears’ official “I Wanna Go” video will make its MTV premiere at 6 a.m. ET Wednesday (June 22), sliding in in time to qualify for this year’s Video Music Awards.

The eligibility period for the MTV Video Awards closes June 24, which has resulted in a pile-up of video premieres over the last two weeks. “Better With the Lights Off” by the New Boyz featuring Chris Brown premiered Wednesday and Meek Mill featuring Rick Ross’ “Tupac Back” hit MTV, MTV2 and MTVu screens early Friday (June 17).

The theme is Britney on the run from the paparazzi/stalkers. Each section of the show is supposed to take place in a different part of the world and the songs are remixed accordingly. She is singing live for about 40% of the show

From what I read in other sources, there is a surprise that no one wants to reveal yet. I’m not sure if that’s the Burning Up cover that we heard the other day or what. Either way, I am excite.

*)The opening video has her being chased in a sequined dress, mission impossible style, “the game of cat and mouse” are the first words. Britney holds a gun and runs from the cops.

*)Britney will open with “Hold It Against Me” and 15 dancers.

*)The tour has the action/spy heroine theme, guns, knives, grenade backgrounds are going to be used. There’s also inspiration in Egypt and Japan.

*)She does, at least, 9 costume changes.

*)During the rehearsal for “Lace and Leather,” Britney pulled up boyfriend Jason Trawick to dance, she sat him down and danced around him.

*)The show will be closed with “Till The World Ends” remix so, Nicki Minaj, is expected to hit the stage with Britney.

*)Sabi will join her for “Drop Dead (Beautiful).

*)She will sing live some of the songs. (Jordan says “most of it”, Perez says “singing somewhat live, definitely not 100% but he’d say about 40%)

*)Perez says she was enjoying herself and is now not “overpowered by the show as she was on the circus tour. she’s on level with the show”; says her dancing has improved – not old britney like, there is lot of choreography from the waist up but it’s better than it has been recently. and it’s better than the last tour.
